Surah Taubah, also known as Surah Bara’ah, is the ninth chapter of the Quran and one of the most important surahs in Islam. Surah Tubah deals with nearly the same subjects as those dealt with in Surat al-Anfal.

It is Sura number 9 of the Quran ٱلتَّوْبَة At-Tawbah means “The Repentance” To ask forgiveness from Allah Almighty and never repeat the sin.

This Surah has 16 Rukus. The total number of verses is 129. There is no Sajdah in it.

What does Surah taubah talk about?

This Surah has two names – At-Taubah and Al-Bara’at. It is called At-Taubah due to the subject it deals with as it informs about the conditions of the acceptance of taubah.

Ayat 116 of surah Taubah

Surah Taubah Last 2 Ayat 

“There has come to you a Messenger from among yourselves; it grieves him that you suffer, and he is full of concern for you; and towards the believers, he is compassionate and merciful. But if they turn away, then say: Allah is sufficient for me; there is no god but He; in Him, I put my trust and He is Lord of the mighty Throne”

The last ayah of the surah is a powerful dua. Whenever you have worries, recite this ayah and you’ll find a way out by the mercy of Allah.
